A school built by the community, for the community
Shree Vidyalaya was founded in 1978 by a small group of local teachers and parents who wanted a dependable English-medium school in the heart of Nashik.
Our Story
In the late 1970s, families in our neighbourhood had to travel long distances for quality schooling. Late Shri Madhukar Bhosale, a retired headmaster, along with twelve other founders, pooled their resources and started this school in a rented two-room building near the old post office.
From sixty-three children in 1978, we have grown — gently and steadily — to a school of nearly nine hundred students today, on our own four-acre campus on Gangapur Road. Many of our present teachers and even some grandparents of our students were once pupils here themselves.
Mission
To provide children of our town with a sound, affordable education rooted in discipline, honesty and respect for elders — preparing them not only for examinations but for life as responsible citizens.
Vision
To remain a school that parents can trust without hesitation, where every child is known by name, every subject is taught with care, and every student leaves us confident in reading, writing, arithmetic and good conduct.
